Day 1 – Budapest
Arrive at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport, where you will be transferred to the ship.
Day 2 – Budapest, cruising the Danube River

Experience the beauty of Buda and Pest—situated on opposite sides of the Danube—with a panoramic tour of the city’s top sights. Or “Do as the Locals Do,” riding the metro to a lively local market before enjoying a coffee and seeing Károlyi Garden and the National Museum. In the evening, enjoy a Captain’s Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner.
Day 3 – Cruising the Danube River, Vienna
FEATURED EXCURSIONS: Choice of Vienna city tour with Vienna State Opera visit OR exclusive “Vienna, City of Arts” tour
Enjoy a panoramic tour of Vienna’s grand architectural heritage before venturing inside the State Opera House, where you’ll be treated to a guided tour. Or, you can view the Gustav Klimt exhibit at the Belvedere, which includes his most famous painting—The Kiss.
Note: A visit to the Musikverein concert hall may be substituted for the Vienna State Opera House
Day 4 – Cruising the Wachau Valley, Spitz

Relax onboard as the ship cruises the UNESCO-designated Wachau Valley en route to Spitz. Explore the town with a wine and nature expert and sample local wines and delicacies made with apricots—a specialty of the region. Or, explore Melk’s 900-year-old abbey and its famous library, the inspiration for The Name of the Rose.
Day 5 – Engelhartszell, cruising the Danube River, Passau
FEATURED EXCURSIONS: Passau walking discovery tour with choice of exclusive guided “Go Active” bicycle ride along the Danube River OR guided “Go Active” hike along the Ilz River
Located at the confluence of three rivers, Passau’s medieval town center is a delight to explore on foot. You’ll also have time to wander on your own or to catch a ride up to a fortress with fabulous views. Later, you can bike along the Danube with a local guide or hike along the Ilz River with an expert naturalist.
Day 6 – Cruising the Danube River, Regensburg
FEATURED EXCURSIONS: Choice of “2,000 Years in One Hour” Regensburg walking discovery tour OR Jewish Regensburg walking discovery tour OR BMW factory visit
Regensburg is one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval towns, and your tour provides a concise overview of its fascinating 2,000-year history. For a different perspective, explore sites associated with Germany’s oldest Jewish community, dating back more than a thousand years, or tour the state-of-the-art BMW factory.
Note: If the tour lands on a day when the BMW factory is closed, we will visit the Audi factory (weekdays) or the Audi museum (weekends).
Day 7 – Cruising the Main-Danube Canal
Enjoy a leisurely day onboard as your ship makes its way through the Main-Danube Canal, a marvel of modern engineering. In the evening, enjoy a Captain’s Farewell Reception and Gala Dinner.
Day 8 – Nuremberg (disembark), transfer to Prague
FEATURED EXCURSIONS: Choice of Nuremberg city tour OR Nuremberg WWII historical tour with Documentation Center visit
After cruising the most scenic parts of the Main-Danube Canal, disembark in Nuremberg for a panoramic tour of this medieval city. Alternatively, take a guided tour of significant WWII sites, including the Nuremberg Trials Memorial, which houses Courtroom 600. Later, you’ll transfer to Prague via motorcoach.
Note: Courtroom 600 is an active court. Visitors will only be permitted to see the courtroom during trial breaks.
Day 9 – Prague

Enjoy a panoramic tour of the “City of Spires,” then cross Charles Bridge to the Old Town Square to see Tyn Church and the famous astronomical clock. Day 10 – Prague, transfer to the airport
Transfer to Prague Václav Havel Airport for your flight home.
