River Cruise Itinerary
DAY 1: STRASBOURG - IFFEZHEIM
Boarding at 6:00 p.m. in Strasbourg. Crew presentation and welcome drink. Dinner on board. Guided canal boat tour of old Strasbourg. Cruise through the night.
DAY 2: IFFEZHEIM - RUDESHEIM - KOBLENZ
Full board on board. Morning spent cruising to Rudesheim. Guided tour : little train and visit of the mechanical music museum. Cruise on the beautiful part of the Rhine River that has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 2002. We’ll also pass the legendary Lorelei rock, named after a beautiful young maiden who, according to German legend, threw herself into the river in despair over a faithless lover and was transformed into a siren. Overnight.
DAY 3: KOBLENZ - COLOGNE - DUSSELDORF
Full board on board. Morning spent cruising to Cologne. Discover of the city with our onboard host/hostess. Dominated by its impressive cathedral, Cologne, the oldest cities of Germany, holds many historical and cultural treasures. Cruise to Dusseldorf. Gala evening. Overnight.
DAY 4: DUSSELDORF - AMSTERDAM
Full board on board. Day cruising along the Rhine River up to Amsterdam, crossing the border in Emmerich then head on to Utrecht - Amsterdam. Canal boat tour of enchanting Amsterdam at night. Overnight.
DAY 5: AMSTERDAM
Full board on board. Guided visit of Amsterdam and its diamond merchants. The Dutch capital is a truly delightful city with a rich and fascinating past. The afternoon, visit to the Keukenhof Gardens (open from mid-March until mid-May). Transfer to the city center to discover the Red Light District. Overnight.
DAY 6: AMSTERDAM
Buffet breakfast on board. Disembark around 9.00 a.m. End of our services.
