DAY 1: MARTIGUES (1)
Boarding around 6:00 p.m., presentation of the crew and welcome drink. Dinner. Overnight.
DAY 2: PORT-SAINT-LOUIS - ARLES - AVIGNON
Full board on board. Cruise to Port-Saint-Louis, excursion to the Camargue, an exceptional area where the sea, wetlands and ponds are inhabited by an extraordinary variety of bird life and free time to visit the village of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. Return on board in Arles. Walking tour of the city. Cruise to Avignon, which we'll reach around 8:00 p.m.. Overnight.
DAY 3: AVIGNON - VIVIERS
Full board on board. Guided tour of the City of Popes and its "Palace of the Popes,” a citadel surrounded by ramparts and perched on a rocky outcropping over the river. Afternoon spent cruising to Viviers. In the evening, guided walking tour to explore this beautiful medieval town. Overnight.
DAY 4: VIVIERS - TAIN L'HERMITAGE
Full board on board. Excursion to visit the Ardèche Gorges. The itinerary follows the famous “Route des Gorges” where you can explore the harmonious meanderings of the river. Return on board in La Voulte. In the afternoon, excursion in the Vercors and taste the famous Clairette de Die. Return on board at Tain l'Hermitage. Overnight.
DAY 5: TAIN L'HERMITAGE - VIENNE - LYON
Full board on board. Early in the morning, cruise and arriving in Vienne. Guided walking tour of Vienne, once the capital of the Roman province of Vienna Senatoria and, until the 15th century, a religious capital. Cruise to Lyon around 11:00 a.m. Guided tour of the city. Lyon is admirably situated at the confluence of the Rhône and the Saône. Departure at nightfall, heading up the Saône River, throught the illuminated old neighborhoods of Lyon. Overnight in Trevoux.
DAY 6: TOURNUS - CHALON-SUR-SAONE
Full board on board. Early in the morning, cruise to Tournus, on the Saône. Excursion to Beaune to visit the famous Hospices de Beaune, a masterpiece of Burgundian-Flemish art. Continuation along the wine trail of the Côte de Beaune through villages bearing the names of great wines. Return on board in Chalon-sur-Saône. Gala evening, overnight.
DAY 7: CHALON-SUR-SAONE
Buffet breakfast on board. Disembark in Chalon-sur-Saône. End of our services.
