Upon arrival, you are met at the Hotel Laguna Palace in Mestre or Piazzale Roma in Venice and transferred to ‘La Bella Vita’ for a Prosecco welcome. See the Chiesa del Redentore, Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute and Punta della Dogana. Moor outside the Naval Museum, disembark and visit St. Mark’s Square and the Doge’s Palace. (Dinner)
DAY 2 MONDAY
Take a guided walking tour of Venice’s Castello District, seeing the gardens at the Biennale Exhibition of Modern Arts; Palladio’s Church of San Pietro; the Bucintoro (Doge’s Boat) at the Naval Museum; and the Pavilion of Gondolas. Cruise to Pellestrina, along the Canal of the Orphans. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 3 TUESDAY
Walk or cycle along the 18th-century Istrian sea wall in Pellestrina. Proceed to Chioggia, seeing its town center, fish market and cathedral. Visit the Piazzetta Vigo. Back onboard ‘La Bella Vita,’ pass through a nature reserve with flamingos, herons and snipes. Continue upriver to Taglio di Po for dinner ashore at Villa Ca’Zen — the private riverside home where Lord Byron courted Countess Guiccioli. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 4 WEDNESDAY
Cruise to Adria and see the ancient relics at the Archaeological Museum. Drive to the Bagnoli Estate; tour the Renaissance gardens and wine cellars of Villa Widmann Borletti, pausing for a private tasting; and cruise to Zelo. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 5 THURSDAY
Take a guided tour of Ferrara, visiting Schifanoia Palace and 14th-century Estense Castle. Return to your vessel and proceed to Trevenzuolo. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Arrive in Mantua. Visit the 14th-century Ducal Palace. Then, attend a Captain’s Farewell Dinner. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Immerse yourself in Italian Renaissance culture as you cruise the Venetian lagoon and calm waters of the Po Valley en route to the elegant city of Mantua. Take a private walking tour of Venice's Castello District. Dine ashore at Villa Ca'Zen, the private riverside home where Lord Byron courted Countess Guiccioli. See ancient relics at the Archaeological Museum in Adria, pause for a private wine tasting at Villa Widmann Borletti and delight in visits to Ferrara's Estense Castle and the fascinating, 14th-century Ducal Palace in Mantua.
